Rail communication has become normal after seven hours of halt as a freight train derailed in Singa Rail Station of the district on Wednesday (October 19).
Jessore Rail Station master Uthpal Kumar Chakrabarty confirmed the matter.
Kapotakkha Express left Jessore for Rajshahi after the restoration, he said.
The station master further said at least five incidents of train-schedule failure occurred due to rail derailment and however schedule failure will take some time to be normal.
Earlier, rail communication of Khulna halted with Dhaka and northern part of the country as a compartment of goods-laden train from India derailed early Wednesday (October 19).
