Fire reported on Sundarbans launch

A tourist vessel has reportedly caught fire at Chandpai Range in the Sundarbans.

The launch, Pelican-1, caught fire in Harbarhia around 6:30pm on Friday, Divisional Forest Officer (East) Md Saidul Islam told.

The Bagerhat, Mongla and Khulna units of the Fire Service have been called in to help, he added.

No casualties have been reported yet.
